Google Introduces Friend Connect for Socializing

Internet giant Google recently introduced its latest service feature called Friend Connect which allows website owners to utilize social features that will promote human interaction.

Users can choose from a wide selection of tools that will attract more visitors from their sites, making this service ideal for businesses for marketing and promotion.

The advantage of Friend Connect is that this has been developed by OpenSocial community with easy application which means that people are not required to do complicated programming.  By simply copying and pasting codes to the websites, the software will automatically do the rest.

With this social feature, visitors who have email accounts including Google, Yahoo, OpenID, and AIM can log in to a website which has Friend Connect.  This service will maximize human interaction by allowing site visitors to post comments, share media contents, and play games.

Another advantage of the new service is that it allows website owners to invite people from other social networking sites and to lure Internet users to view blogs and sign up for membership to a certain site.

Friend Connect also allows site visitors to serve as promotional agents by inviting other people from their contact lists.  With this feature, word-of-mouth marketing has been transformed into a more intimate interaction between two individuals.

This is how to use the service features: choose from the wide selection of apps and tools including photo sharing, games, concert listings, etc. and then copy the pieces of application codes and simply paste these to the website, and in an instant, this will provide the chosen social features.

With this new feature, Google is expecting that non-interactive websites will now be able to promote two-way communication.
